Oracle Configurator Crashes When Opening in Order Management using Configurator Extension (Doc ID 2201221.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3.31.9 version, Runtime Core

When attempting to launch and make selections in the Configurator Runtime window, the following error occurs. This is happening to the model when it is published with the Configurator Extension (CX) enabled. The same model works as expected when testing from the Oracle Configurator Developer. It also works fine if the CX is disabled when publishing.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to Order Management responsibility
2. Navigate to Sales Orders
3. Enter a new sales order
4. Enter the appropriate header level information
5. Navigate to Lines tab
6. Enter this model on the sales order line
7. Click on the Configurator button
8. Error occurs
