ERROR ‘Building Default Distribution Accounts’ When Creating Purchasing Order (Doc ID 2202093.1)

Symptoms

When directly creating a purchasing order after another purchasing order which has a operating unit in another set of book's, there is error that 'Building default distribution accounts.Please wait..'. Then Press the button 'OK', there is another note that 'This line has one shipment and no distribution'. The date can be save safely, but the distribution is empty.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a PO from an existing PO (which has OU in another set of books)
2. Save
3. See error "Building default distribution accounts"
4. Press ok
5. Error: "This line has one shipment and no distribution"
6. The distribution is then empty.

This can cause PO's have empty distributions.
