Error When Update The Price Break Fields For BPO Using PO Web Service WSDL (Doc ID 2204792.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to end date the BPA price break through the PO web service, the following error occurs:

<exception><![CDATA[<ISGServiceFault><Code>ISG_SERVICE_PROCESSING_ERROR</Code><Message>Error occurred while processing the web service request</Message><Resolution>Check the server logs for details.</Resolution><ServiceDetail><ServiceName>ERCEBS4D_BSO_po_service_PurchaseOrderService</ServiceName><OperationName>UpdatePurchaseOrder</OperationName><InstanceId>5345987</InstanceId><ISGServiceFault>/]]></exception>


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create pay load for cancelling encumbered PO
  2. Use a date value like the following: <!--EndDate>'2016-11-18'</EndDate-->
  3. Run the payload -> the following error occurs:
     
    <exception><![CDATA[<ISGServiceFault><Code>ISG_SERVICE_PROCESSING_ERROR</Code>
    <Message>Error occurred while processing the web service request</Message>
    <Resolution>Check the server logs for details.</Resolution>
    <ServiceDetail><ServiceName></ServiceName>
    <OperationName>PerformDocControlAction</OperationName>
    <InstanceId>10069</InstanceId><ISGServiceFault>/]]></exception>
