Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When validating BEE for the absence element if assignment normal working time ends in the next day but earlier time than the prior day. (e.g. Start = Jan 1st 17:00, End = Jan 2nd 1:00)

The absence duration in hours is greater than the actual time absent.

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Add Normal Time to employee.
     Assignment > Standard Conditions tab
     e.g.
     Normal Time: 17:00 - 01:00
  2.  Create batch.
     e.g.
     Element: XXHourly
     Assignment: 12345
     Hours: 8
     Absence Start: 01/01/2016
     Absence End: 01/02/2016
  3.  Validate BEE
  4.  Error occurs
