Why The AR Sweep Program Didn't Update The GL Date? (Doc ID 2211684.1)

Goal

Our user tried to sweep  unposted adjustments from a closed period to an open period. The Sweep Invalid Distributions Report shows Accounting Exceptions.

We ran the same process by accessing period close using AR Sysadmin responsibility. The GL date for the adjustments were updated to open period.

Why this program works for Sysadmin user and not for other users?
