Gmf_xla_extract_lines Table Showing Wrong Lot Information for Resource Transactions and Batch Closing Event (Doc ID 2211914.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Process Manufacturing Financials - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version, Subledger Accounting

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
The gmf_xla_extract_lines table is showing the wrong lot numbers for Batch Closing events.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
By current system design all postings for event type Batch Close have the inventory_item_id column set to 0 (zero) in table gmf_xla_extract_headers.

It is therefore not correct to have the LOT_NUMBER column in table gmf_xla_extract_lines populated, since there is no way to link that lot number to a specific item.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Perform a check of the gmf_xla_extract_lines table and see it is showing the wrong lot numbers for Batch Close Variance (CLS) events.
