APP-PER-74185: Invalid Record of Employment (ROE) Reason Code Has Been Selected When Terminating Employee (Doc ID 2212169.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1 HRMS RUP9 version or later, Terminations or Absence

Unable to terminate an employee, or place on a Leave of Absence (LOA) because it required a Record of Employment (ROE) Reason code. However, it is not accepting an values in the List of Values (LOV) list.

 

ERROR

APP-PER-74185: Invalid ROE Reason code has been selected. Please select a valid reason code for the profile option selected.



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. CA Super HRMS Manager
  2. Find employee > Others > End Employment  or  absence
  3. Fill in the ROE Reason in the Further Information FF and select a 3 character value (A00 - Shortage of Work for example)
  4. Receive Error
  5. Neither PAY:Enable ROE Interface is not set
    or
    PAY:Enable ROE Interface = No

Error still reproduced.
