Attempting to create a new Accounting Flexfield with only one segment which is natural account, this fails; on the same instance it was possible to create structure having balancing segment, natural account and intercompany segment.

APP-FND-00668: The data that defines the flexfield on this field may be inconsistent. Inform your system administrator that the function: FDFRKS could not find the structure definition for the flexfield specified by Application = &APPL, Code = GL# and Structure number = 50389 (APPID=101)

APP-FND-00992: Flexfields was unable to freeze Flexfield data because of an error. Determine the cause of the error. Once you resolve it, you can recompile your Flexfield. Likely problems include incompletely-specified Flexfield qualifiers (especially for the Accounting Flexfield) or other incomplete segment information.

1. GL Responsibility
2. Setup > Financial > Flexfields > Key > Segments
3. Create a structure and then click [B] Segments
4. Only add one segment and then select 'Natural Account' Qualifier.
5. Enable the "Freeze Flexfield Definition" checkbox and click compile
6. Observe the error messages

Is this setup possible?
