Service: Error FRM-40212 Raised While Creating SR For Inventory Item (Doc ID 2217248.1)

Symptoms

Issue when trying to create a Service Request for one Inventory Item related serial number.

Error:

FRM-40212: Invalid value for field CURRENT_SERIAL_NUMBER.

Steps:

(R) Service
(N) Service Requests > Create Service Requests

 - Entering info for new SR
 - SR Status = Open
 - SR Severity = Low
 - Party : still not populated
 - Enter Serial Number

 => Error seen at the bottom of the form
