Custom Node Count Is Showing As 0 When 'Use Default Filter' Check-box Is Unchecked (Doc ID 2222144.1)

Created the custom node under Service Request node based on Doc ID 1527012.1.
The records are displaying correctly but Why the Count for the custom node is showing as 0 if 'Use Default Filter' check-box is unchecked in the node definition form?
