Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After migrating (copying) column sets from Non Production instance to Production via a database link, cannot update copied column sets, getting form error:

APP-FND-01050: This flexfield cannot be opened because it has no displayed segments. Please contact your system administrator.

Modify your flexfield definition to display one or more segments. This may also be caused by incorrect use of the DISPLAY= token to the flexfield user exits in the form. In that case, please contact your support representative.
Enter value in segment access_set_id before entering value in Ledger segment.

Newly defined column sets do not have this error and the copied column sets do not have the error in the UAT instance from where they were copied.

The column sets are not defined to use a segment override.

When viewing a column where the error is received it is sometimes noted that the word "NULL" is present in the segment override field.

Copied (Migrated) the Financial Statement Generator (FSG) components from Non production instance to Production via database link.
