Interface Tripstop (ITS) Is Failing For Intercompany Order Due To Invalid COGS, INV_TRX_MGR: error msg : No cost of goods sold account is defined for the sales order (Doc ID 2224369.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Inventory Transactions

When attempting to run interface trip stop program for intercompany order ,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

Action: Please define a COGS account in the Order Management Transaction Type Setup form.
[29-SEP-16 07:01:49] INV_TRX_MGR: error msg :No cost of goods sold account is defined for the sales order.

Action: Please define a COGS account in the Order Management Transaction Type Setup form.
[29-SEP-16 07:01:49] INV_TRX_MGR: error msg2 :No cost of goods sold account is defined for the sales order.

Action: Please define a COGS account in the Order Management Transaction Type Setup form.
[29-SEP-16 07:01:49] INV_TRX_MGR: Mssg peeked :No cost of goods sold account is defined for the sales order.

Action: Please define a COGS account in the Order Management Transaction Type Setup form.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Order Management > Shipping > Shipping Transactions.
2. Query the related order.
3. Choose the delivery tab.
4. Choose ship confirm.
5. Monitor for the trip stop concurrent program to complete.
6. See the trip stop fails.
