Search Of Published Negotiations Returns No Data When Enter Key Is Used (Doc ID 2224554.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Sourcing - Version 12.2.5 to 12.2.6 [Release 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Sourcing, Release 12.2.5 and 12.2.6, when searching for published negotiations using the Enter key, the results are not found; however, if the user clicks the Go button instead of using the Enter key, the results are found.

It is expected that the search results will show the same information regardless of whether the Enter key or Go button is used to initiate the search.
Due to this issue, users are sometimes missing the negotiations or realize that they have to use the Go button. On previous Oracle Applications version, the users are having this work successfully when using the Enter key.

Steps To Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to Oracle Application, using the Sourcing Super User responsibility.
2. Click the Negotiations tab.
3. On the Negotiations home page, in the "Search Published Negotiations" search box, enter value "61%" and press the Enter key. In the resulting refreshed screen, in the Published Negotiations region, the message "No results found." appears.
4. However, if the user clicks the "Go" button instead of using the Enter key, the results appear correctly in the Simple Search page.
