QSO Error 'You Are Not Allowed To Create Order Line Because Order Has Been Closed'

When attempting to enter a new order in quick sales order form, on version 12.1.3 Order Entry, the following error occurs.

'You are not allowed to create Order line because order has been closed'


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open an order which is having status 'Closed' in the "Quick Sales Order" form

  2. Go To tools and click on '+' icon to create the new order.

  3. Click on the 'Operating Unit' field and select the 'Operating Unit'

  4. Click 'Tab' button from keypad and error message appears.
