Endeca Incremental Load Not Refreshing Correctly For Cancelled Lines (Doc ID 2228480.1)

Last updated on APRIL 23, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Endeca incremental load not refreshing correctly.

Create sales order with model.option value and book. The sales order system creates
Alias for each line. When Endeca incremental refresh happens, EBS sends this Order
Information to Endeca ONT. We see this Sales Order in Endeca with Model.option and
Alias lines.

When the user cancels this Sales Order in EBS, system by default changes line status
to Cancel for Model.option lines and deletes Alias lines. When next Endeca incremental
refresh happens, Endeca only removes Model.option lines from its ETL schema and
leaves Sales order with zero amount and Alias lines.

Result of cancel is incorrect because Sales Order is cancelled in EBS but remains in
Booked status in Endeca.

The issue has the following business impact:
Endeca does not reflect correct information where Sales Orders are cancelled in EBS.
