Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
After setting up an OSP absence scheme with 3 days waiting period the following behavior is seen:
Scenario 1
For the absences under 3 days, the employee is not paid for the sick day (as expected) but the BAND1 is still deducted
Scenario 2 :
For an absence of 5 days the employee is paid for 2 days and has 2 days deducted from their BAND1
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Scenario 1 -
For an absence of 3 days – employee should not be paid at all as it is under the 3 days and it should not take off the day’s leave from the BAND1 allowance.
Scenario 2 -
For an absence of 5 days – employee should not be paid for 3 days, then paid for the remaining 2 days, deducting 2 days from their BAND1
