Symptoms

E-Business Suite 12.2 Applications DBA, Online Patching ADOP Utilities Issues

 

 

Permission denied Error occurs when run adop phase=prepare during patching.

Reviewing the FSCloneApplyAppsTier_<number>.log, the following error appears:

cp: /oracle/fs2/EBSapps/appl/test/12.0.0/bin/CTESTD.ctl: Permission denied
cp: /oracle/fs2/EBSapps/appl/test/12.0.0/bin/CTESTD.sh: Permission denied
cp: /oracle/fs2/EBSapps/appl/test/12.0.0/bin/CTESTD_A.sh: Permission denied
.end err out.

WARNING: Copying of /oracle/fs2/EBSapps/appl/test failed
ERROR: Copying failed, so stopping all the parallel threads
