Cannot Use Mass Search and Replace to Remove the End Date of a Specification Validity Rule (Doc ID 2231118.1)

On : 12.2.5 version, Quality Management Mass Search and Replace

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Cannot use Mass Search and Replace to remove the End Date of a spec validity rule.

The form allows you to select Replace Effective To Date and tab through the New end date leaving it blank. The concurrent request Output implies that the VR has been updated with blank as the new end date, but in fact the end date remains.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect the end date to be nulled out. Blank or null for the end date is a valid value, no error is given, and the log file shows that the update was made. So the solution should not be to just prevent the user from clicking Replace without entering something other than blank.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to QC Mass Search and Replace and select Find Validity Rules and enter the criteria to retrieve your VR and click Find.
2. On the Replace tab, select Action Replace Effective To Date.
3. Click into the New Name field, and the Replace button becomes active. Click it.
