How Do I Schedule A Concurrent Request Using 'Recalculate Parameters' Without The Colon? (Doc ID 2231431.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Concurrent Processing - Version 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When submitting a concurrent request the client needs to use the ‘Recalculate Parameters’ checkbox to increment a parameter required for the concurrent program (example: payroll period).

However when they use the checkbox the scheduler concatenates a colon (:) as a suffix to the payroll period name parameter.

If the ‘Recalculate Parameter’ checkbox is not used then the parameter is not updated (as expected) and there is no colon.

How to schedule a concurrent request using 'Recalculate Parameters' without the colon?
