Service Request Approval Workflow Not Going Through

On : 12.2.4 version, Service Request Form

Service Request Approval workflow is initiated

The SR status id changed manually to an status for approving, however the status is not changing to an intermediate status

The SR status should change to an intermediate status

The Approval should receive a notification and then the approval  should be able to accept or reject the notification

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Service
2. Create Service Request
3. Create an SR
4. Change status to "Submit for Approval"
