Last updated on SEPTEMBER 22, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Pricing - Version 12.1.3 to 12.2.3 [Release 12.1 to 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.3 version, Pricing Object Security

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Entity Level Security Privilege not available to Multi-Org responsibility

Have a Multi Org Resp ( EU CVI QP Pricing Manager); which has access to following OUs: ( CVI DE
CVI ES
CVI FR
CVI IT
CVI NL
CVI PL
CVI SE
CVI UK
CVI HU)

Have a Pricing Entity Set configured for all Price Lists with name starting with DE.
To this Entity Set, have assigned Maintain Privilege to CVI DE OU

Based on this set up, am expecting that all DE Price Lists created using this resp should be visible and maintainable in this resp as this does have access to CVI DE OU.
But, do not see those price lists using the resp.

If , however, if assign the Maintain Privilege to individual Price List ( same CVI DE), that shows up.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expectation is, that even Entity Level Maintain Privileges should work

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. EU CVI QP Pricing Manager
2. Oracle Pricing Manager
2. Price Lists/Price List Setup
3. Unable to query price list that is CVI DE OU price lists.
