Purchase Order Not Crossdocking To Oldest Sales Order (Doc ID 2236095.1)

Last updated on JULY 08, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management - Version 12.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

You have multiple sales orders with the same schedule ship date (i.e. 18-JUL-2016 23:59:00), but find that a purchase order receipt does not crossdock to the first one entered/booked. The expectation is that the first receipt into LPN CD725021 will crossdock to SO# 494327 because it is the oldest sales order entered/booked/backordered.

The first Sales Order booked:
SO# 494327
Schedule Ship Date: 19-JUL-2016 23:59:00
Booked Date: 19-JUL-2016 10:41:10
Backordered Date: 19-JUL-2016 10:53:55
Qty: 1

The second Sales Order booked:
SO# 494328
Schedule Ship Date: 19-JUL-2016 23:59:00
Booked Date: 19-JUL-2016 10:42:42
Backordered Date: 19-JUL-2016 10:54:55
Qty: 1

You backordered the SO's in the same order they were booked and created PO# 200222 for a Qty 2. Received PO# 200222 and crossdocked a Qty of 1 on two different putaways. The first Putaway went into LPN CD725021 and the second Putaway went into LPN CD725022.

LPN CD725021 crossdocked and is reserved to SO# 494328
LPN CD725022 crossdocked and is reserved to SO# 494327
