How To Troubleshoot And Resolve Cost of Goods Sold Account (COGS) Issues That Occur During Interface Trip Stop (Doc ID 2236830.1)

Purpose

This Note is designed to help the audience diagnose and troubleshoot COGS issues/errors that arise during Interface Trip Stop (ITS) Processing or during the Receiving (RCV) action.

ITS Log can show any of the following but will always have the generic error message as below:

ERRORS

Generic error :

Unable to get account for delivery detail id <delivery_detail_id>
Specific detailed error messages :

1. Cost Of Goods Sold Account Generation Failed with error : <User defined message> example : Value secured: security rule test


2. Cost Of Goods Sold Account Generation Failed with error : Please select a value other than 'nnnn' for <flexfield> Segment"

3. Error Message : ORA-20002: 3135: 'Wf_Item_Activity_Status.Set_Error(error_process)' is not permitted in synchronous processes.

4. Cost Of Goods Sold Account Generation Failed with error : Cannot derive the Code Combination id for Order Type Id value xxxx

5. Cost Of Goods Sold Account Generation Failed with error : Cannot derive the Code Combination id for Inventory Item id /Warehouse value
   Item_ID/Org_ID. This combination is disabled. Please choose another.
