Using the Contract Lifecycle Management module, the users are attempting to de-obligate (Un Encumbering) a projects based award with an expenditure date that is in a closed project period and an error occurs.
Invalid Project Information -Project Information on the distribution is invalid
- Login to Responsibility: CLM Super User Responsibility
- Create a MOD for a project related award where the PA period for the expenditure item date is in a Closed period (and the project period is closed also)
- Change the funding to zero on the distribution by checking "Partial Funded flag" and applying zero amount on the funded value field.
- Apply the changes, an "Invalid Project information" error thrown.
The ability to de-obligate (un encumber) the award should be available without opening the project and GL period.
