Goal

How to import Additional In-House Root-CA Certificates Into The Mobile Applications Foundation (MAF) Apps Truststore.

In Oracle E-Business Suite Mobile Applications only predefined CA certificates are imported into the to cacerts, which is preloaded into the Mobile App.

Unfortunately there is no way to import an in-house CA certificate on-the-fly into the EBS Mobile App from the public app stores in EBS mobile release 6.0.

In EBS mobile release 6.0 and higher to support in-house certificates for SSL connection, there is only one option - Use Mobile Application Archives for the corresponding mobile app and import the in-house CA certificate to cacerts and build the iOS and Android app.

The process is called "Enterprise Distribution", where the users install the app from a local internal app store of the company.
