Release Management (RLM) Order Line With Intermediate Ship-to Is Getting Duplicated Instead of Reconcile
(Doc ID 2239914.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 09, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Release Management - Version 12.2.4 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 12.2.4 version, RLM Rules Issues
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
The sales order line is getting duplicated with same matching attribute demand when the demand line is imported through DSP having Intermediate Ship To populated.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
RLM Order Line populated with Intermediate Ship To to be reconciled with existing order line
STEPS
1. For example, there is a customer sending 866 file and we have only Model Serial Number as Optional Matching Attribute.
2. In the first pass the RLM demand line is imported and sales order line gets created and populated with Intermediate Ship To.
3. Upon importing the demand line having the same model serial number (matching attribute) is imported again the next day
through another RLM file with same value of Intermediate Ship To populated, the sales order line does not get reconciled
but gets duplicated.
So now we have 2 identical order lines duplicated in order board and this will cause various downstream impacts.
