Rehire Search Performance Issue and No Results Found (Doc ID 2240055.1)

Problem Statement:

When attempting to search an ex-employee using the Applicant Hire and Rehire function and only using the Last Name, the page times out and
the following error occurs.

This page can't be displayed

Make sure the web address is correct
Look for this page with your search engine
Refresh the page in a few minutes.

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Responsibility: Manager Self-Service

  1.  Navigate: Applicant Hire and Rehire

  2. Enter Last Name of ex-employee
  3.  Click Go
