How to Track Unpaid Leave Hours In EBS for ACA 1095 C Reporting purpose? (Doc ID 2241301.1)

Customer is able print Form 1095-C's without issue using the proper flag and the dates for determining eligibility.

Customer is requesting a general process that can be used to identify people in the following category, for which they are required to offer health insurance:
-has not been offered health insurance coverage
-is close to or exceeding the Federal requirement of 30 per week on average.

Customer has several groups that need calculations in addition to hours worked. The problem population is part-time exempt employees such as faculty members and coaches.

The Affordable Care Act requires that employers do not penalize employees for unpaid FMLA leave hours.

If the person is taking unpaid FMLA leave to take a family member to the doctor, for example, then the employer has no way to capture those hours so they can use them for calculating whether or not the person is full time under ACA regulations.
