Unable To Close Month End Periods Due To Accounting Errors (Doc ID 2243572.1)

Symptoms

Customer reversed 16k labor transactions via an Excel WebAdi using an existing working transaction source.


1. Previous periods had been open at the time of the exercise for another separate issue.


2. All entries had negative hour quantities entered to reverse, some had a further positive entry to re-import on a different hourly rate.


The transactions source (Straight Time Type):

Raw Cost GL Accounted = No.

Allow Reversals = No

Allow Adjustments = Yes


3. Some of the complete reversals (no further positive entry) have failed Generate Cost Accounting Events:

The output of (PAGCAE) PRC: Generate Cost Accounting Events shows the below error and warning:


1. See the following error:

Auto Accounting could not create flexfield.
