Shopping Cart Does Not Refresh Automatically After Lines Deleted From Shopping Cart Pop-Up Window (Doc ID 2244911.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle iProcurement, Release 12.2.4 and later, when items are deleted from the Shopping Cart popup window, the same items are still remaining visible in the Shopping Cart region of the Shopping home page when the user clicks the "X" icon to close the cart window after delete all lines from the cart.

It is expected that the Shopping Cart region of the Shopping home page will refresh with the proper data, even when users are closing the Shopping Cart pop-up window by using the "X" icon to close the cart window.
Due to this issue, users are very confused because the items which were deleted are appearing as if they were not deleted.

Steps To Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps in a Vision Demo environment:
1. Logged in as user CHORTON.
2. Responsibility = iProcurement > iProcurement Home Page
3. On the Shopping home page, in the Shopping Cart region, there are two (2) items in the cart. Click the View Cart and Checkout button.
4. In the Shopping Cart pop-up window, click the Delete icon (trash can) to remove the items from the cart. The shopping cart is now empty. Click the "X" icon in the upper-right-hand corner of the page.
5. Back on the Shopping home page, in the Shopping Cart region, the two (2) items which were deleted are still displayed. This is the problem.
6. Click the View Cart and Checkout button. In the Shopping Cart popup, the lines are not seen in the cart (the cart is empty). Click the "X" icon in the upper-right-hand corner of the page.
7. Back on the Shopping home page, in the Shopping Cart region, the two (2) items which were deleted are still displayed, even though the items are not actually in the cart. This is the problem.

The problem is resolved when one of the following things occurs:
a. The user clicks the "Continue" button in the Shopping Cart pop-up window
b. The user leaves the shopping home page for another page, then goes back to the Shopping home page.
Either one of these actions results in the deleted items no longer visible in the Shopping Cart region of the Shopping home page.
