Unable to Create, Approve or Reject Adjustments due to Error: "ORA-01403: No Data Found" (Doc ID 2247298.1)

Symptoms

Unable to create adjustment in Adjustments form, or approve/reject adjustments from Approve Adjustments form due to the following error:

Error
ORA-01403: no data found

or

APP-AR-11503:  Invoice type adjustment must make the balance due zero

or in FND debug log, the following exception occurs:

 

 

Steps To Reproduce
1. Responsibility : Log into your Receivables Responsibility
2. Navigation: Control > Adjustments > Approve Adjustments and query Adjustment Number to be approved
3. Choose Approve from the Status LOV
4. Error occurs : ORA-01403: no data found
