APP-PAY-06127 Error When Attempting to Enroll Participants in the Non-Flex Form (Doc ID 224750.1)

When attempting to save enrollments in the Non-Flex Program form, the following error occurs:

APP-PAY-06127: &INPUT_VALUE_NAME must be entered

PLEASE NOTE: The text of this error message will vary depending on the specific Input Value failing.

For example, in one customer instance, "Deduction Processing" what the name of the failing Input Value on the Basic Life element.

So, the error displayed as "APP-PAY-06127: Deduction Processing must be entered".

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to responsibility US Super HRMS Manager.
2. Navigate to People > Benefits Service Center and query any employee enrolled in Basic Life.
3. Process a life event, change the benefit enrollments and attempt to save.
Error occurs.


Need to check the element associated with the rate and make sure the Element Description form does not have any Input Values marked as Required.

Need to make sure to check the Employee(EE) and Employer (ER) elements/rates.

To determine the offending element, do a PYUPIP trace of the error.  Look for the last p_element_type_id evaluated in the trace.

Then run the below query:

select element_name from pay_element_types_f
where element_type_id = <enter element type id from the trace>
