Issue when using Web ADI in conjunction with Excel4apps Wands application. The issue occurs specifically with Excel 2013 and manifests as a VBA error message "Ambiguous name detected: BNE_TRACE" when the Excel4apps add-ins are enabled in Excel.
After applying patch 20698017: WHEN USING WEB ADI WITH THE EXCEL4APPS WANDS EXCEL ADD-INS ACTIVE YOU MAY RECEIV that resolves VBA error message "Ambiguous name
detected: BNE_TRACE" in the Excel spreadsheet, there are Format Issues with the GL Integrators using Excel 2013.
Downloading budget spreadsheet to Excel using Budget Wizard, #NUM! is displayed in the total column on both the Budget and Actual tabs beginning with row 32768. Total cell cannot be manually updated and error message "Read-only fields cannot be changed" is displayed. Totals should work to the end of the data in the spreadsheet.
The issue seems to be related to the rowNum variable in the VBA code for the GetHorizontalRange function that generates the row's total is defined as an Integer.
Now if you restore the following Classes, the Format issue is gone, but the "Ambiguous name detected: BNE_TRACE" in the Excel spreadsheet returns.
Need to resolve the Format issues seen after the Patches 17455458 R12.BNE.B and 20698017 USING WEB ADI WITH THE EXCEL4APPS WANDS EXCEL ADD-INS are applied.
Read-only fields cannot be changed
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply Patch 20698017: WHEN USING WEB ADI WITH THE EXCEL4APPS WANDS EXCEL ADD-INS ACTIVE YOU MAY RECEIV
2. Setup the Excel with the Excel4apps Plugin
3. Use Web ADI with the Excel4apps Plug and get the error.
