Post RUP9 - Oracle Learning Management (OLM) - Send Class beginning Notifications to Waitlisted Learners - Multiple Notifications .
Customer does NOT use auto wait-listing, but the program is set to run to inform employees who were not manually placed on a course by the Learning Administrators that they need to re-book because the course they booked on has now passed.
This setup has worked fine up until customer installed the previously mentioned RUP9 patch.
Since installing Patch 21980909 - R12.HR_PF.B.DELTA.9 (HRMS 12.1 RUP9) customer has had users complain they are receiving multiple notifications from the Send Class beginning Notifications to Waitlisted Learners concurrent program. This was not picked up in user testing so is in our production environment.
The number of notifications received is x times the number of waitlisted employees. For example, if there are eight (8) waitlisted employees, they each receive eight (8) identical notifications.
Customer has tested this in a non-patched (RUP9) environment and the program works as expected.
Send one notification from the Send Class beginning Notifications to Waitlisted Learners .
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the concurrent waitlisted program.
