FA Depreciation Sources for SLA are not Being Updated (Doc ID 2250414.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 31, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Lease and Finance Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.1.3 version,

Find that In their configuration for SLA, they are using the Lease Management sources of Contract Product Name and Contract Status to drive account derivation rules. This is working correctly for Addition transactions, but for Deprecation transactions it was not producing the correct result.

Analysis has shown (via Transaction Objects Diagnostics on a draft run of Create Accounting - Assets) that the okl_fa_dep_ref_v does not contain any entries for these transactions, despite there being values in fa_deprn_summary for this FA book.

Similar configuration worked for different asset books in the past, implemented Belgium and Netherlands in 2012 (which have entries in okl_ext_fa_line_sources_b and are deriving the correct accounts via SLA) but is not working for the new asset books.

Expect entries in okl_ext_fa_line_sources_b

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure SLA for the new tax book
