Symptoms

When trying to approve prospective supplier registration the following error occurs:

ERROR
ORA-20004: error in step create supplier business classification: ORA-20090: ORA-06512:
at "APPS.POS_PROFILE_CHANGE_REQUEST_PKG", line 1421 ORA-01407: cannot update ("AP"."AP_SUPPLIERS"."LAST_UPDATED_BY") to NULL ORA-06512:
at "APPS.POS_VENDOR_REG_PKG", line 1402 ORA-20090:
at "APPS.POS_PROFILE_CHAGE_REQUEST_PKG", line 1421 ORA-01407: cannot update ("AP"."AP_SUPPLIERS"."LAST_UPDATED_BY") to NULL ORA-06512:
at "APPS.POS_SUPP_APPR", line 2801 ORA-06512: at line 1

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Sign on to Application
Select Responsibility: Supplier Management Administrator
Navigation: Supplier Home ->> Locate Header: New Supplier Requests ->>
Click: "Prospective Supplier Registrations" ->> Locate Supplier Name: "ABC123 Corp"
Actions: Select ->> "Approve" Click: "Go"
Receive Error: ORA-20004: error in step create supplier business classification: ORA-20090: ORA-06512:
at "APPS.POS_PROFILE_CHANGE_REQUEST_PKG", line 1421 ORA-01407: cannot update ("AP"."AP_SUPPLIERS"."LAST_UPDATED_BY") to NULL ORA-06512:
