E-Business Suite Applications Management Pack (AMP) 22.214.171.124.0, Auto Discovery issues
After implementing Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c and installing the E-Business Suite 12.2 Applications Management (AMP) plugin, OEM Smart Clone fails during Auto Discovery with the following error:
Discovery Error: oracle.apps.fnd.oam.em.sdk.targetData.discovery.AppsDiscoveryException: Error while attempting to discover EBS ...
at oracle.apps.ebs.amp.oms.discovery.job.EBSDiscovery.execute ...
Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException:at oracle.apps.ebs.amp.oms.discovery.discoverer.EBSTargetDiscovererR122.startWlsServer
The following warning is also received in the Diagnostic-Status-Failed.log:
WARNING: Operating System User name is not Same for Agent and EBS. Please
make sure that the following directory has access for the Operating System
User Group common for Agent and EBS. EBS Discovery will complete successfully
if the directory has recommended permissions
