Claim Line Is Returning Base Price Instead Of Net Price (Doc ID 2253676.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Claim line not returning the net price, instead it returns only the base price

When entering a claim line, if an item is chosen that has some modifier deductions applied on it, the claim line should return the net price. In 11i, it used to return the net price, but in R12 it does not.

This issue was identified after applying patch 21036279:R12.OZF.C.



STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

The settlement method of the claim should have impact this issue. Let's take the example where an invoice with item A and base price as $10 and has a discount of $2 applied

When checked the AR invoice, will see 2 lines for the item A, one for $10 and one for -2$. This makes the net price of the item as $8.

If there is claim for this item on the invoice and trying to settle it through RMA or writeoff , It should credit or write off only $8 and not $10.

In 11i, when search for item on the claim line, it will return 2 lines. One for $10 and one for -2$ . Should select the $10 item and update the claim, when page refreshes, the unit price field would show $8.

In R12, when search for item on the claim line, it is returning 2 lines. One for $10 and one for -2$ . When we select the $10 item and update the claim and the page refreshes, the unit price field is not showing $8. It is still showing $10.

Oracle should not allow to settle more than $8 or less than $8 for this item as its actual price is $8 and not $10.
