Getting Error "Item is serialized and the serial number is missing ID" while Doing Material Debrief for Item which is Serial Control (Generation at Sales Order Issue)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.6 version, Debrief / Field Service Report


If an item is in serial control (generation at sales order issue), when doing the debrief if dummy serial number is entered and Click Apply button to save the record, after this serial number field is empty and when click Post Debrief, it prompts up the following error message:

Item is serialized and the serial number is missing ID: XXXXX Organization ID XXX



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Enter material debrief line detail along with dummy serial number

2. Click Apply button to save the record, however, after this serial number field is empty;

3. When click Post Debrief, it prompts up error message:
