Sales Order Pick Release or Manually Allocate Lot or Auto Allocate Lot
Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
In a onhand material status enabled inventory organization, when attempting to manually allocate a Sales Order Pick Wave move order, the following error occurs.
"The material sourcing process failed to create picking suggestions for line X of move order number XXXXXXXX".
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. (N) Inventory > Move Orders > Transact Move Orders > Query by Move Order number
2. Select the record
3. Click on Allocate button
4. Receive the error
The same issue exists even when pick release is done with Auto Allocate as 'Yes'.
In this case, pick release process backorders the the sales order delivery detail though onhand quantity exists.
