Disable Notification Of Duplicate Registration Sent To Supplier Contact

The iSupplier self-registration screen generates an error if the registering Supplier enters a Taxpayer ID that already exists in Oracle for another supplier. It also generates a notification to the supplier that holds that Taxpayer ID.
The following error message is displayed:
whose details match those that you have provided. We have notified our contact at this
supplier in order that they can get in touch with you if necessary. If you believe this to be
an error, you may change your registration details and submit again. Otherwise, click on
Close to exit.
It also sends notification to the existing supplier contact and they are confused with these notifications.
Notification sent to supplier:
A user with first name as John and last name as Doe has attempted to register with Your Company
using the same details that are already registered for your company. We have rejected the request
and informed the user that we have passed their details onto you in case they work within a different
part of your organization. You can contact them at email@example.com
Is it possible to "turn off" this notification when supplier user trying to enter a Taxpayer ID that already exists in Oracle for another supplier.
