GL Date Defaults As Last Day Of Next Open Period After Approval Of Adjustment Created From Collections (IEX) (Doc ID 2258062.1)

Oracle Advanced Collections - Version 12.1.3 and later
Oracle Receivables - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.


User has done Adjustment through Collection Agent Responsibility and
Adjustment date was given as sysdate which falls under closed period.Then
they switched to receivables responsibility to approve the adjustment and
default GL date is showing as last day of next Open period.

Sample scenario:

Closed Period: Jul-2016
Next Open Period: Aug-2016
Adjustment Done through collection agent and adjustment date:
22-Jul-2016(which falls under closed period)
Switch to receivables responsibility to approve adjustment.
Default GL date: 31-Aug-2016 (Last day of next open period)

If adjustment is done through receivables responsibility its taking default
GL date as first day of next open period in the same scenario as mentioned
above and which is as per functionality.
