Symptoms

"RetroPay By Element" started processing the elements that are excluded in an element set after upgrading the database to 12c.

Example:

  1.  Upgrade the database to 12c.
  2.  Create element <ELEMENT NAME>.
  3.  Create element set <ELEMENT SET NAME> and exclude the element <ELEMENT NAME> created in step 2 above.
    1.  Create element entry <ELEMENT NAME> on 01/JAN/2017.
       Pay Value = 1000
  4. Run Payroll for Jan 2017 pay period to process <ELEMENT NAME>.
    1. Make correction to the Pay Value of<ELEMENT NAME>.
       Pay Value = 2000
  5. Run "RetroPay By Element" using element set <ELEMENT SET NAME> created in step 3 above. <ELEMENT NAME> is processed and Retro element is created.

 

Changes

 Upgrade DB to 12c.
