Information in this document applies to any platform.
Customer wants to do a replacement order. Order line is created with itemA
and installation detail is entered with to be replaced instance. However,
during shipment, customer shipped itemB instead by creating a new order line.
Installation detail previous entered through depot repair are not copied
over to new order line therefore the "to be replaced instance" is not
updated. This has nothing to do with standard feature, customer need to
modify their business practices, installation detail need be re-entered if a
new order line is shipped.
But customer wants the installation details to be automatically populated for
the itemB when they create the replacement shipment. They want this to be
logged as enhancement. Currently they are manually populating installation
details for replacement shipment. They need this to be handled by
