Symptoms

OLFM - Contract booking not submitted after upfront tax calculation not sending DELETE to Vertex

When activating a contract, Oracle is initiating a tax call to Vertex for upfront tax billing at the point the contract status becomes PASSED. The user then Prices the contract and the status becomes COMPLETE. However, if the contract is not submitted/booked and instead the user cancels or closes out without finishing, Oracle is not initiating a DELETE call to VERTEX. The tax that was recorded in the Vertex journal earlier is not reversed.

It is only when the user goes back into the contract and starts again with Activate Contract, that Oracle realizes a previous tax call can initiates a DELETE call.
