Pick Release Failed with Error "The Material Sourcing Process Failed To Create Suggestion for Line XYZ" and "Pick Release Could not Allocate Item XYZ for Order 123456" (Doc ID 2260931.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to allocate a move order generated from an Internal Sales Order (This a non WMS organization) where the costing method is FIFO,  the following error occurs.

Error

The material sourcing process failed to create picking suggestions for line XYZ or Pick Release process could not allocate 1 of item XYZ for order 12345678 as there was insufficient quantity available or Inventory allocations have failed, and
the line has been back ordered.


Steps

Case 1:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Book the Internal sales order.
2. Run Pick Release using Auto Allocate and Auto Pick Confirm=N
3. Navigate to the Transact Move Order form and attempt to allocate the order.

The form raise the error.

Case 2:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Book the Internal sales order.
2. Run Pick Release using Auto Allocate and Auto Pick Confirm=Y
