Symptoms

Actual Behavior
User Can Enter Same Serial Number for Different Locators When Doing Physical Count Through MSCA

Expected Behavior
User should not be allowed to Enter Same Serial Number for Different Locators When Doing Physical Count Through MSCA

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create Item: SY Item Serial for Count

  2. Misc Receipt
    Subinventory    Locator        Serial Number
    SY Count           SYCount.1    SY-SN-001

  3. Create Physical Inventory: SY M1 PI Test
    Snapshot - Freeze physical inventory

  4. Generate physical inventory tags

  5. Perform Physical Inventory through MSCA : Physical Count : Normal

    Subinventory    Locator        Serial Number
    SY Count           SYCount.1    SY-SN-001
    SY Count           SYCount.2    SY-SN-001

      

    When using MSCA : Physical Count : Normal,
        user can enter duplicated serial number for different locators.
    When using Form or MSCA : Physical Count : Serial,
        user is not allowed to enter duplicated serial number for different locators due to Error - "Count quantity for items under serial control must be 1 or 0"(INV_SERIAL_QTY_MUST_BE_1).

     
  6. Approve all the Adjustments

  7. Perform physical inventory Adjustments
    Concurrent returns error.

  8. Check Pending Transactions and find below error transaction.
    Serial number SY-SN-001 for item SY Item Serial for Count already exists,
    Serial state "Resides in stores" disallows this transaction
