E-Business Suite R12 Applications Technology Stack, Jserv, JDK, JVM, and JRE related issues

 



E-Business Suite prompts users to install Java each time forms are accessed after an environment was recently patched.

The following message is received each time forms are accessed:

"This application would like to use a version of Java (1.x.x_xx) that is not installed on your system.We recommend running the application with the latest version of Java on your computer."

Users are requesting the ability to open forms without the desktops prompting to download and install java each time.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to applications.
2. Launch forms
3. Get the prompt
