Purpose
This note provides a description of Billing Groups features introduced in OLFM as of the 12.2.5+ Delta 4 patch.
Scope
Business Background
Lessors place high value on being able to generate invoices that convey information clearly and effectively. Invoices must not only meet the billing party needs but also the needs of the billed party as invoices that are easily understood are processed and paid promptly. Also, consolidating all charges in the same invoice, including those for ad hoc amounts, is critical to efficiently bill and process contract charges.
Additionally, invoicing must be managed across contracts and assets that have common invoicing needs based on customer’s preferences or industry practices.
