Purpose

This note provides a description of all the enhancements in the areas of passthrough processing introduced in OLFM as of the 12.2.5+ Delta 4 patch.

Scope

 Business Background

Many of the lessors work very closely with their business partners which includes their vendors for passthrough services and fees. Many a times, equipment vendors also provide service to the equipment financed by lessors and hence this association or working closely with equipment vendors/service vendors results in increased volumes and foray into newer geographies for the lessor. The lessors are also obliged in return to serve their passthrough vendors efficiently and also provide at times upfront financing for vendor for the passthrough services.

Passthrough business can pose complex reconciliation issues and hence this area needs enhancements. Lessors also need the ability to correctly calculate advance passthrough amounts, adjustments arising from reassignment of vendors, termination obligation calculation etc.
